PleurX Training, Tips & Tricks
On 21 July 2026, IntraMedica successfully conducted the PleurX® Training, Tips & Tricks educational workshop at Royal Hospital – Oncology Conference Venue, bringing together 25 healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients requiring long-term pleural and peritoneal drainage.
The session focused on PleurX® and PeritX® Catheter Systems, providing practical guidance on appropriate patient selection, prescribing, dispensing, and clinical best practices. Participants also took part in a hands-on demonstration covering catheter management and patient education, with a particular emphasis on empowering patients to safely perform home drainage and improving continuity of care beyond the hospital setting.
